Pumpkin (Butternut Squash) Bread Halwa

Ingredients:
Pumpkin (Butternut Squash) – 200 gms
Milk- 300 ml
Water- ½ cup
Sugar- 4 tablespoons
Bread (whole wheat)- 2 slices
Vegetable oil- 4-5 teaspoons

Method:
Boil the milk.
Cut the pumpkin (skinned) into square pieces.
Cut out the edges from the bread slices. Soak it in milk and keep aside.

Add the pumpkin and sugar into the boiling milk. Let it cook.

Mash the pumpkin when cooked. Add the bread to it.

Keep stirring until it thickens.
Add the vegetable oil. Stir for 2 minutes and take it off the stove.

Garnishing (Optional):
Cashew or Almonds (Both broken)
Dried grapes or Cherries.
Serve and enjoy.
